The Purdue- Wisconsin game has reached a new era of rivarly between the Berquists and Cornwells. The Purdue fans have found themselves 0-3. Poor Katie.

However, both families have a great time between eating Oobie's pumpkin dip and gingersnaps and Paula's yummy oatmeal cookies.

Unfortunately, Scott was unable to make the game. Incidentally, Paula, Leif, Natalie, and Ron also beat Joanna, Oobie, David, and Katie in height.

Let me demonstrate this below.

The Purdue-Wisconsin rivalry is great, but there is a bigger one that involves more family members.

Mainly, the Notre Dame-Purdue rivarly.

We have Chris, Aunt Doris, Joanna, Aunt Virginia, Michael, and anyone else who values football history and legacy

For the bad guys, we have Marisa, Steve (but since they live in South Bend, I hope they make the right choice), Katie, Nathan, Neil, Matt G and Rachel, Cici and Rick, Jack, Tori...actually this list is becoming quite large.

To be fair to Purdue, I will include the last couple years of match ups although I'd much rather include just the last two.

Bound to Be Sharing Berlin Beer Tales at Lake Avenue

After teaching in Chicago for a couple years and growing tired of the windy weather, Jessica headed to Berlin to explore, dream, and discover. She is teaching at this international school.

From California to Berlin, the family has dispersed far and wide, finding new places to call home, to raise families, and to live the good life of competitive board games, loud laughter, and hearty meals as only a Griffith would know. On December 25th, all Griffiths return to their old stomping grounds at 1520 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN where it all began. Although, not all the family can make it every year, it is a destination we all have made. Until that day, let this blog share all of the memories and happenings so we stay up-to-date and in the know.
